Job Description:
A company is looking for a Collections Specialist responsible
for collecting commercial, government, and patient balances.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor outstanding account balances and determine the next steps
in the collection process
Follow up on claims and claim denials to ensure maximum
reimbursement for services provided
Review accounts receivable activities and generate necessary
paperwork for insurance claims and collection letters
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Computer proficiency and experience in windows-based
technologies
Prior work experience in a medical office setting preferred
Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
discreetly
Must be able to work as part of a team and respond calmly in
stressful situations
