Job Description:

A company is looking for a Pharmacy Vendor Manager.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage relationships and contracts with pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) and specialty pharmacy vendors, ensuring alignment with strategic goals
Develop strategies for contract negotiations and performance management to maximize value and ensure compliance with SLAs and regulatory requirements
Monitor vendor performance through data analysis, addressing potential issues proactively and overseeing corrective actions

Required Qualifications:

Minimum of a professional bachelor's degree in health care administration, public health, or a related field
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managed care setting, preferably from provider, payer, or PBM perspectives
Strong background in pharmacy benefits management or healthcare contract management
In-depth understanding of Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial market regulations related to pharmacy benefits
Experience leading cross-functional teams and influencing strategic decision-making
