  • Number of Beds: 27 on each floor
  • Patient Ratios: 5:1
  • Unit staffing description: Unit secretaries during the dayshift and techs on all shifts
  • Type of equipment: Computer on Wheels, Pyxis, Welch Allen vital sign machines
  • Documentation system: Medhost but transitioning to Meditech April 19th
  • Procedures performed on unit: Blood transfusions, IV and central line maintenance
  • Requested Skill Set: Basic Med/Surg experiences, Experience with post-op patients especially ortho
  • Brand new computer on wheels and vital sign machines, transitioning to meditech from medhost as our documentation system
    • Schedule Information
    • Scheduling requirements: 3 days a week with every other weekend
    • Floating policy: will need to float between MS 2 and MS3
