Job Description:
Innova Solutions has a client that is immediately hiring for a
RN, LPN, Paramedic- per diem

Position type: Part time, Contract
Duration: 22 Months
Location: Johnson City Tennessee 37604
Shift- Monday- Friday 7am -3:30 pm or 3:30 pm- 12:00 am. Occasional
Saturdays, same shifts.
As a RN, LPN, Paramedic- per diem, you will:
Implement a safety and preventive health care program, which will
provide injury and acute care, disease management, wellness
appraisal programs and general encouragement to employees at all
levels of the organization.
Reports to the Supervisor of Occupational Health Nursing
Provides appropriate level of care for injured employees and
consults with the nurse supervisor and /or company physician to
determine appropriate course of care.
Documents (charts) medical information, which is sometimes used in
preparing for, defending, and keeping workers compensation, claims
cost at the lowest possible level.
Assist employees in completing medical/physical forms.
Communicates shift injury illness information to manufacturing
supervisors, safety manager and the nursing supervisor daily.
Confidentially maintains and handles employee personal and work-
related medical records to assure compliance with company policy
and existing local, state, and federal law.
Conducts hearing tests, trains employees in the use of hearing
protection, explains hearing tests results, follows-up on referrals
and conducts follow-up testing to assure the lowest possible
recordable injury rate.
Maintains Files. Enters dates, times, amount of damage, action
taken and number of accidents into a log which assists the safety
manager and HR in administering disciplinary action in accordance
with the union contract and existing local, state, and federal
law.
Performs breath alcohol tests and substance abuse testing that are
compliant with DOT standards.
Directs employees with problems to use the Employee Assistance
Program
Accurately completes and files the first report of injury with the
insurance carrier for workers compensation claims for all Client
Johnson City sites.
Provides employees the convenience of onsite screening such as
vision, blood sugar, blood pressure, and fat analysis.
Assists the nursing supervisor in identifying injury/illness
trends.
Assists the nursing supervisor in controlling OSHA recordable
injuries including lost time injuries.
Advises and reassures employees on acute and chronic health
conditions.
Assists the nursing supervisor with other tasks as needed.
The ideal candidate will have:Must hold current TN licensure as an
RN, LPN, or Paramedic
Must hold current CPR licensure
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range*: $20 - $24 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
