Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Records Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Collects, prepares, and indexes patient records for scanning while
ensuring proper documentation and organization
Completes analysis of records and manages work queues for timely
documentation and chart completion
Follows up with departments and providers regarding missing
documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or GED
CRCR certification required within 9 months of hire (company
paid)
Knowledge of CMS and Joint Commission regulations preferred
EMR experience preferred
Healthcare Revenue Cycle experience preferred
