Job Description:
A company is looking for a Remote Rehab Loan Underwriter.
Key Responsibilities
Independently underwrite fix-and-flip and rehab loans focusing on
property acquisition, construction budget, and after-repair value
(ARV)
Analyze borrower credit, experience, liquidity, and exit
strategies, while reviewing scopes of work and construction budgets
for accuracy
Ensure underwriting decisions meet investor guidelines and
coordinate with various teams for a smooth closing process
Required Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience underwriting true rehab loan products
in private lending or real estate investment
In-depth understanding of fix-and-flip, value-add, and
construction/renovation loan structures
Familiarity with underwriting rehab budgets and validating ARV
using real estate market data
Strong working knowledge of investor guidelines, title review, and
draw processes
Proficient in loan origination and underwriting systems
