Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate General Counsel,
Claims.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and support to the Claims Team regarding
insurance coverage and disputes
Conduct legal research, draft opinions, and manage coverage and
extra-contractual litigation
Plan and conduct educational programs on legal matters related to
claims handling and management
Required Qualifications
Juris Doctor Degree and admission to the bar in good standing in
employed state(s)
A minimum of five years of experience in handling coverage matters
or litigation
Knowledge of federal and state laws governing insurance and
corporate governance
Ability to understand complex legal issues and their business
implications
Experience in developing policies, procedures, and training
materials
