Job Description:
Summary
- Provide high quality CT imaging procedures to patients and
physicians.
- Work in a respectful, efficient, safe, and clean environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an approved School of Radiologic Technology with
ARRT accreditation.
- Registered in the subspecialty of CT or registry eligible.
- BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
- Preference of one year work experience in hospital CT
setting.
- Ability to perform multifunctional tasks and take call for
STAT, Urgent, or Routine studies after hours and on weekends when
needed. Performance Standards
- Checks patient identification and physician order for
accuracy.
- Provides proper radiation safety protection for all persons,
following ALARA, IMAGE GENTLY AND IMAGE WISLEY protocols.
- Strives to maintain patient dignity and safety.
- Volunteers for overtime and fill-in when needed.
- Ensures high quality studies and efficient equipment use.
