Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Quantitative Scientist
(ML/NLP).
Key Responsibilities
Develop and leverage advances in natural language processing using
pre-trained large language models for clinical data analysis
Drive research on language modeling with a focus on scientific
accuracy and explainability
Collaborate cross-functionally to translate clinical questions into
data analytics requirements and provide mentorship to team
members
Required Qualifications
Doctorate in a quantitative discipline with 3+ years of experience
or Master's with 5+ years of experience
5+ years of experience with messy data and analytical
methodologies
3+ years of experience with machine learning model implementation
and deployment
Strong familiarity with programming languages such as Python,
Pyspark, R, and SQL
Familiarity with clinical datasets and coding systems like ICD,
CPT, and RxNorm
