Job Description:
A company is looking for a Product Counsel to provide legal
guidance on product and feature development.
Key Responsibilities
Provide legal guidance to product, design, and engineering teams
throughout the product development lifecycle
Advise on relevant US and international laws and regulations,
including those related to financial services and consumer
protection
Draft terms of use, product policies, and disclosures while
coordinating with other support teams to ensure compliance
Required Qualifications
7+ years of relevant experience in law firms, governmental
agencies, or in-house legal departments, preferably in fintech or
financial services
Experience in launching products and advising on legal and
regulatory aspects in the technology sector
Ability to translate legal advice into actionable guidance for
product teams
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree and active membership in at least one
state bar
