Job Description:
A company is looking for an Insurance Claims Specialist HB.
Key Responsibilities
Submits accurate and timely claims to third-party payers
Resolves claim edits and account errors prior to claim
submission
Contacts third-party payers to resolve unpaid claims and ensures
compliance with regulations
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
One (1) year of medical billing or medical office experience
preferred
Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to
hospital billing
Ability to utilize payer portals and websites for claim
follow-up
Experience with medical terminology and billing processes
preferred
